We woke up to another day in paradise, and a polite knock at the door telling us breakfast was ready and waiting. Offerings of food are an excellent thing to wake up to!
Bali: Day 3
As the week in Bali continues, we seem to have fallen into the closest we’ve had to a routine since we set off on the 10 of Aug. No early sunrise tours of temples this week, thankfully, but instead lots of exploring!
Bali: Day 2
Keeping in with our attempt at a slower pace here in Bali we had a leisurely morning enjoying our terrace before heading out for the afternoon via picking up our laundry. It may be a small pleasure having a fresh load of clothes and a choice in what to wear, but the novelty doesn’t wear off every time we get our clean clothes back
Bali: Day 1
After a comfortable nights sleep in Ubud, we were greeted with breakfast on the terrace! The breakfast consisted of toast, pineapple jam, fruit, fresh fruit juice, and tea / coffee.
Bangkok > Bali
Our flight to Bali was so early we were back up out of bed before a lot of people had even gone to theirs! The drive through Bangkok at 2:30am was made more memorable by our taxi driver taking racing lines on the motorway and generally not stopping for no-one! We arrived at the airport unscathed and managed to get through check-in and all the other important steps before embarking an airplane fairly quickly.
