Today was a very special day, not because it was our last day in HK, but because it was Hatti’s birthday! Although there was a good bit of traveling ahead of us later in the day, we checked out at a responsible time and hit the streets to soak in a little more of the vibrance!

Hong Kong: Day 4
Today we ventured back onto the Kowloon Peninsula, to roam around the various galleries and museums that populate the North bank. How to cross the vast South China Sea you ask? Fortunately the brief 1km stretch can be navigated on another ye olde service, the Star Ferry.

Today we embarked on the journey to Victoria Peak, some 554m above sea level, to step back and view the metropolis from afar.
Tokyo: Day 5 > HKG
Today was our last day in Tokyo, a half day, but we thought, ‘Hey, we can probably fit in another shrine’!

Although we had sped through Shibuya previously, we though if would be nice to walk up the 305 from Shibuya station to the Meiji Shrine. The promenade is fringed with the best representation of all the top high street brands. My favourites were, perhaps unsurprisingly, North Face & Victorinox…
