Phnom Penh: Day 2

I think we both knew that this morning was going to be tough. But I do think it’s so important to educate ourselves and the world about atrocities such as those inflicted by the Khmer Rouge regime. The hope is we would learn by example and it’s unfathomable that things like this are still going on in our world today.

Phnom Penh: Day 1

Following a quick breakfast we jumped on a coach, and headed through rural Vietnam on route to Cambodia. From what we have seen of Vietnam, it is definitely a country we would like to return to. Especially having heard great things about the North from various friends.

Hong Kong: Day 6 > SGN

Today was a very special day, not because it was our last day in HK, but because it was Hatti’s birthday! Although there was a good bit of traveling ahead of us later in the day, we checked out at a responsible time and hit the streets to soak in a little more of the vibrance!
